Obstetrician-Gynecologist Faculty Member Physician Employment Opportunities

Lankenau Medical Center is seeking experienced and passionate OB/GYN Faculty Members to join our esteemed residency program. With a cohort of 16 residents, and over 25 volunteer faculty members, this role offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical practice with resident education, shaping the future of obstetrics and gynecology.
Key responsibilities
Clinical practice (0.7 FTE)
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum care, and gynecologic surgeries
- Participate in labor and delivery coverage, including on-call responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up visits
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Call not to exceed 1:6/7
Educational duties (0.3 FTE)
- Serve as a preceptor for residents, offering hands-on training and mentorship in clinical and surgical settings
- Participate in the development and implementation of the residency curriculum under direction of the residency program director in compliance with ACGME standards
- Conduct educational sessions, including lectures, case discussions, and simulation training
- Evaluate resident performance and provide constructive feedback
- Engage in scholarly activities such as research, publications, and conference presentations
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification/eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Commitment to teaching and mentoring residents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
