Meeting the challenges of public health head-on in the Philadelphia suburbs

For the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), Main Line Health participated in a Regional Community Health Needs Assessment (rCHNA) which identified health needs throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. This effort, spearheaded by the Health Care Improvement Foundation and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, brought together 10 other local health systems, including: Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, ChristianaCare, Doylestown Health, Grand View Health, Jefferson and Einstein Health, Penn Medicine, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Temple Health, Trinity Health and Wills Eye Hospital.

CHNA plan initiatives and implementation

The information provided in the 2025 regional CHNA (rCHNA) by community members through a series of community-based conversations, informed the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment. There were 12 regional priority areas highlighted. Main Line Health will address some of these community health needs in the Main Line Health FY26-FY28 CHNA Implementation Plan, which will launch in November 2025.
