SARS-CoV-2: Genes, Proteins and Structure
COVID-19 Genetic Resource Guide
Through the work of Sunil Thomas, PhD, a biomedical researcher at LIMR with expertise in vaccine design, this COVID-19 Resource Guide offers a compendium of the genes and protein structure of SARS-CoV-2. Given that COVID-19 will remain prevalent in society, the need remains urgent to develop second-generation vaccines that go beyond spike protein targeting to more fully prevent disease. This open-source site provides a ready source of molecular information for use by the scientific community.
The information on the virus’s genes and proteins are from published papers in the public domain.
