Ultrasound Supervisor

This position will provide direct supervision of personnel assigned to the ultrasound sections, schedules staff, maintains equipment, orders supplies and maintains logs and records, participates in QA projects. Must be competent to perform ultrasound services on all patient populations including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent adult and geriatric patients. Will also recommend hiring, training, personnel movment, scheduling of personnel, and disciplinary action and orient new employees and perform employee evaluations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years supervisory experience required, preferably in Ultrasound
• Three years experience as staff sonographer with experience in ABD/OB required
• R.D.M.S. in ABD/OB within one year of graduation from applied program required
• Must have broad exposure in a wide variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OB, neonatal, neuro and vascular procedures.
• Must operate numerous pieces of ultrasound equipment.
• ARRT certification desired
